Carpe Diem

Coming from nowhere
and set for the void

we struggle on forward
on our way through the night.

We mourn what has happened
and dread what will be,

we dream of escape
and just fail to see

that there's no way out
and no turning back,

no second chance
to find the right track.

And so we live blinded,
wasting the day

which could be so easy
the last on our way.
